Meritin Hotel

We had a fantastic stay at the hotel. The staff were incredibly accommodating, allowing us a late check-in and check-out, knowing that we were a trio of daughters traveling with our mom. Their attentiveness to our needs made us feel truly valued as guests. The service was thoughtful and considerate—such warm and kind people, embodying 有人情味 (a genuine human touch). It created a welcoming and memorable experience. Highly recommend

We booked a Triple Room via Booking.com for a quick overnight stay before heading back to KL, and it was a decent choice for a good night’s sleep. The location is great — close to nearby attractions, making it easy to explore Kuching even with limited time. The bed was comfortable enough, and the price was reasonable for the location and convenience.

An excellent hotel in a very central downtown location in Kuching, on a lively road in the heart of Chinatown. The breakfast options were good, and the staff were very friendly and helpful on all occasions. When staying here, you can walk (or take a short Grab ride) to many places of interest in the downtown area, such as the waterfront promenade and the nearby bars and restaurants. And right across the road from the hotel is the amazing Borneo Rednecks music pub, where they have live music most or all nights (it's well insulated, so the sound of the music stays inside the pub). Overall an excellent experience!

I like that it’s clean, even the lobby is bright and inviting. I also like the fact that they have prepared soap dish in the toilet which is small detail but still useful. Plus, four pillows for queen bed when other hotels usually only give you two. I’m really impressed they put little details more thoughts. A little note from Aminudin (Housekeeping) was also very thoughtful. Thank you staffs for trying their best to let me have a nice stay.

Clean, quiet, comfortable. The iron is the best, quick and easy to use. Better than most hotels in the area. The water is nice and hot! With very good water pressure. The bed is firm, clean and perfect for a good night's sleep. It's also very quiet at night, considering it's in the middle of the city. Will definitely stay here again when I come by.
